The Urban Geko Team gives back to the community by volunteering at the NB100 events in Newport Beach, giving a helping hand at the Tecate orphanage in Mexico, and operating the amusement rides at the Harvest Festival at the Mariner's Church. Most recently, one of our team members volunteered for the animal evacuation team during the 2007 California, Orange County fires and has traveled beyond the community to Africa to help with education for HIV and/or AIDS.
In June of this year, we recieved information regarding a young girl named Mikyla with Rett Syndrome, a neurodevelopmental disorder that affects thousands of young girls. Mikyla-Cure is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that was formed for the purpose of organizing and raising funds towards cutting-edge research to cure Rett Syndrome. The Urban Geko team was pleased to become a sponsor and donate our time and money for this worthy cause. We encourage you to give your support. Please visit their website, www.mikyla-cure.orgfor more information.
Team members are encouraged to give back and are always looking for new opportunities to help. We also understand the difficulties in getting a company off the ground and strive to support new businesses in the area by offering them affordable rates.
